bugged gold crowns for fishing

it seems that the escunites both grand escunite and regular escunite seem to be bugged, between me and a bunch of others, well over 2k have been caught, not a single gold crown. this is the only fish that seems to have this issue, largest grand i have is 145.824 and regular is 115.478. this seems to be the numbers everyone else is stuck at too.

Hate to be the skeptic here, but what's up with the capture net retracting as soon as it touches the water? Could just be a setting/tech I don't know about but mine definitely does not do that. Also skeptical because that thing looks hilariously outrageoulsy large like it's not supposed to be there, and I know spawning one of that size in would be relatively easy. My guess is they set the gold crown sizes for the escunites too high to where the game won't actually spawn them in naturally, and this person just spawned one of that size in himself. Or he's just stupidly insanely lucky, would like to see if anyone else can verify this. I'm not looking to capture 1000+ escunites for the crowns so I'm more willing to accept it's just bugged.

When using the Capture Net while crouching, you can cancel the post-throw animation by quickly standing up and crouching again right after throwing. This allows you to use the Capture Net more rapidly.

So tech I didn't know about, this is going to make life much easier, thank you! Still willing to bet this guy was using a size mod though cause as far as I've seen people are saying escunite crowns do not exist currently (as in won't spawn in naturally, there is a gold crown value for them, the game just won't spawn one of that size)
