Cheaters are rampant in this game already and it's an issue

So I am sure you guys saw it or experienced it but there is more and more cheaters in this game.

I am on ps5 and was playing crossplay but never again and you know why ? Because some cheaters using mods from nexus mods or just trainers made it so not only do they kill tempered monsters in 2 minutes but also you get 10x the rewards... I managed to quit my game instantly so no autosave but basically be careful with who you play now because you might end up with 244 of each materials AND decorations at the end of a hunt...

So for all the people saying mods can't interfere here is your proof...

For others who want to play legit like me be careful and if it happens to you screenshot the name of the players with you and contact support or you might be caught in the cheat too and end up being banned or like they used to do your save corrupted...

And for those of who who cheat in online therefore corrupting other people's progress I really hope you get banned

Edit : For all those defending cheaters saying "you can play offline, solo, in clan, private whatever... NO it's not us legitimate players that should be punished and afraid of playing with other people because some people decided to cheat and ruin it for others. Sure you might play hundreds of hours and never encounter a cheater but then you only need ONE cheater and it's over... ALSO PRETTY IMPORTANT TO KNOW, authors of cheats or cheating mods say THEMSELVES to not use those cheats or cheats mod online yet several of you here tell legit players to go offline... If you use cheats or modded cheats ONLINE despite the AUTHOR saying it has to be used OFFLINE then YOU are in the wrong not legit players...

BY THE WAY there is some mods on nexus mod that completly are illegal because they steal from CAPCOM by making normally paid content free... So if you guys still think modding such as this is not wrong I would love to see you debate about it in court

Are you out of your dead mind? This statement: "I don't think cheating on PC is an issue here though." is outright insane! It doesn't matter if you play with hundreds or thousands, the progress which you worked hard for will be ruined by that one percent! We don't know if that person cheated until we see it! Support modders and cheaters all you want! But, at the end of the day, cheating has no value in an online lobby! Keep your filter mods and cheats - even your DPS meter out! You guys who mod and cheat have done enough damage! A lot of us are tired of this!

First off, I'm just telling you my experiences with the game. I haven't seen any cheater yet. I haven't been carried by any cheater using modified damage values to one shot a boss. The super majority of players are PS5 players too. I've tried searching only by PC platform before. I've gotten 0 results on most missions. Super majority of players are PS5/Xbox players.

So what you seem to be complaining about is some incognito cheater who save file edited for high end gear, but somehow seems to play normally and they aren't constantly playing like a noob who cheated for high gear? Consequentially this isn't a big deal. The game already has leeching or carrying as a thing that happens. People can leech off the work of others regardless of save file editing or not. Join in on a fight ten seconds before it's done and you got a free carry. Am I supposed to be worried about save file editing when the people being carried or leeching are doing a similar thing?

Does rampant mean you met one or two somewhat close and negative bias is taking hold?
It's not that common, I've done many SOS quests and haven't come across one cheater yet despite coming across a few in Rise.

But the game is at fault for allowing impossible gear to even be a thing and sync to other players like 1 deco giving many skills or max skills kind of silly stuff, there's no real check to go "hey wait, that's illegal."
This can easily happen on Console honestly with any sort of save editing if someone REALLY wanted to badly as it wouldn't even bother unless it was so far outside the scope and corrupted your save.

And I haven't come across a increased reward quest other than a screenshot that preemptively showed the quest had modified rewards before you joined.

Even if a "modder" does mess with your game, one can easily either mod your save to get back to the point where you were or go back to an earlier save?
(Sure, that should not have to be done, but whatever- here is a solution)

This seems to be an instance of making a mountain out a molehill, sure there are cheaters here occasionally (haven't personally seen any yet other than a maxed out hr on day 1) but every game has some sort of that these days. It is what it is, move on.

Oh wait, the actual person who made the post is on console- good luck with that then, best luck is to restore an earlier save if you have it.

I m sorry to hear all this go through for you, tho I'm slightly cheating with x3 rewards...I still set myself a rule that I had, to only get 1 armor piece at a time of every monster i kill, i get their sig armor or weapon...again I m terrible sorry for your experience...
