First MH with no Elder Dragons

How do you feel about no Elder Dragons being in Wilds? Who would you like to see return? It's weird not seeing the Trio but we could always get the usual 3 suspects in future updates.

No monster Hunter before now pulled the "pay more to fight elder dragons." Not having elder dragons is a ♥♥♥♥♥ decision no matter how many excuses you make.

Most of the elders have been in most MH titles going back to first gen. That's 20 years for some and 15 years for most of them. I'd be more inclined to fight the ones that have been on the back burner.

Yama Tsukami, Nakarkos, Dalamadur, etc.
Vaal Hazaak despite being recent is just a cool monster and IMO fits wilds theme so I just want him in Wilds.

I'm 95% sure we're getting Shagaru at some point, given Gore existing. There's also a few dialogue lines in Kunafa mentioning a "great bird" which could very well end up being a new ED.

Zho Shia is using attacks of the different types of Fatalis so that guy is probably coming back at one point

It's not present for story reasons, but they already said it's going to be added with title update 1. The expedition has only been in the area for so long, so simple intermittent base camps with the general amenities had the priority. Now that everything that needed urgent attention is resolved they're setting up a proper hub.

I honestly want Nergigante. The one none elemental ED to throw hands with all of them to keep the balance. Nerg was pretty much a hunter.

I really don't want nerg, Nerg is a new world monster, specifically there to keep keep the ecosystem in check by killing and feeding off the elders that reach it durring the elders crossing. A Nerg in the Old world (which is where Wilds takes place) would be a very bad thing. If it was a construct aka guardian i could see it, but, i would prefer new world monsters staying in the new world. so we could get more games set in that land.

Elder Dragons are just a title, so I have no real care for whether or not that type of monster is in the game. Elder Dragon doesn't equate to challenge. I think we just need more challenging encounters, of any monster variety.

I do personally hope that we get no returning Elder Dragons, but I know that's unrealistic. If they bring them in, give us all new originals.
