Should I buy this on PS5 or on PC?
I have a MSI Bravo C7V gaming laptop with a RTX 4060 laptop GPU and no PS Plus

Hard to tell, cause I prefer not to game on laptops do due it having no proper airflow.

At most you can try it for 2 hours and see if the first few missions work, then you should be good.

Do you at least have an airpad for it?

sad to say but it runs better on ps5 on average at the mo. i have a very good rig and it runs fine for me but there are many others who also have very good rig's and it does not.

No airpad. I've tried the beta and 50% of the time it stuttered. I've read that it's a RAM problem, so I probably need to upgrade my RAM from 16GB to 32GB
yeah don't try and run this on a laptop it will melt and probably also explode and kill your cat

Beta ran 50% of the time with stutters for me. I think I would need to upgrade my RAM in order for it to be stutter free

PC
PC. In 5 years it'll run great on your new hardware and you'll have your save file still.

Unless you got a multi-thousand dollar gaming laptop I'd recommend desktop or console. Reason being is most laptops will overheat and have horrible airflow.
Mixed responses so far. My gaming laptop is 1 year old. Heat has never been an issue. However I believe that because of 16GB ram, my laptop stuttered on beta. So I will need to buy Wilds(50 euros) and 85 euros of 32 GB RAM
Benchmark is free, so try it and decide. I have NVIDIA 4070 laptop, AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS, 16 GB RAM and 80+ fps with frame gen, 60+ fps without it on high settings.

The only reason to play from a PC is for mods/overlay. If you don't take into account mods with cheats, some of them are not bad to increase the convenience (icons with elements for monsters, dps in overlay, graphical improvements, etc.).

Don't buy yet, wait for a few updates. It's kinda barebones atm.
Game runs like butter on Sega Dreamcast

The reason I'd like to play from PC is also the free online. I'm going to try the benchmark again. But the results weren't promising on high for me in the town area
I'd probably go with the PS5 if you already have one handy, though the laptop seems to be well above requirements

Though I run a 7 5700X with a 3060 and the performance is less than desirable (The game wants to lie that I have 110fps with frame gen but it definitely does not feel like is even close to 60 lol), you could look up some PS5 performance videos to confirm how it runs the game.
