Guys who play as female characters, why?
Man I can't count on 200 hands how many guys I've seen and met who has a female character. Its the mods isn't it?

Glam is true endgame but we all know the number of perfect male glams can be counted on one hand.

Because they prefer see Female character move around with sexy suit rather than male in sexy suit.

If I'm going to spend over 1000 hours into a game I enjoy, I'd rather look at a female character instead of a male one.

I'm transfemme so...yeah obviouslly I'd rather play as the gender I identify as.
Some people def do it for the thirsty mods, and I'd argue women are just more aesthetically pleasing to look at (totally not biased here nu-uh).
That said, previously gendered armor sets are now universal so who knows!
contrary to popular belief, not everyone who plays video games need to identify with the characters they are playing with. Some like me just want to be looking at a cool character.

This as well, but for me it's def bc I am one and also am attracted to them ^w^
I mainly used to make female characters in games if the armor for them looked better. In GW1 it was 50/50 if my character would be male or female. In ffxiv I played a female miqo'te (cat girl) for ~4 years before Endwalker dropped and offered male Viera (bunny boy) and decided to transmog into the male character. Genuinely had more attachment to the character and it had a lot better glamour plates for the different jobs. I eventually swapped back to a miqo'te but stayed male.

I never made my female characters wear skimpy/sexy outfits. I wanted my characters to look "cool" and thematic. So my Paladin wouldn't be wearing a boob plate, but an outfit similar to Olivia in Wilds. She's a knight, she should dress like a knight.

But yeah, after swapping to male in FFXIV and being more attached to the character, I've been making male characters almost exclusively and there are some awesome armor sets for males in modern games these days.
It's a game. Why should I have the same gender I have in real life?

I find extremely cringe dudes that try to create exactly themselves on games. Zero imagination.

Can't imagine how fun must be to play a PNP session with one of these dudes.

Think about it a little.

You look at that character's back the majority of the game.
