I keep getting this error and it kicks from live lobbies constantly. Unable to join friends no matter what I do.

I've opened ports, I've removed privileges for the game to see through my firewall and re-enabled it only to keep getting this error.

I have even uninstalled/re-installed the game on top of verifying files.

What am I doing wrong? I only want to play with friends and its so far been impossible...

Same here maybe because of the update?

Hard to tell, check if the update finished downloading.

What happens to me is that when I create a mission in a public room, I cast the flare, other players connect, and after a few minutes of fighting the boss, I get an error saying "You have disconnected and entered offline mode." All the other players leave, leaving me with the bots.

This started happening to me after the last update.

I'm taking a wild guess here, so handle with care. Based on mh:World release, when your System/Gfx card ran hot they usually killed the online session first far before failing in other ways.

That is true and possible. Though unlikely in threadstarter's case. But I definitely have seen other cases where that applies. So it is a fitting guess. :mhwilds_OK:

Installed windows update KB5053598 (March 2025) earlier, restarted my PC and got connection issues.

Was also getting connection issues over my browser, and on a hunch I uninstalled this specific windows update.

Browser is working as intended, and the connection error in Wilds has disappeared.

Take it with a grain of salt.

I haven't had any issues with my graphics card. It's a 2070 Super, running at a stable 74 degrees. I don't even play games on high graphics. I'm on low/medium.

I think it’s working now. I was able to log in to the server.
