I thought the World Handler was more annoying, but...

I'm really starting to hate Alma.
Not because I hate her adopting the gestures of other cultures before she's so much as asked the significance of them.
Not because I hate how she informs and/or reminds me about monster parts or heavy slinger ammo after I'm already collecting them OR halfway through the next marked zone on the map.
Not because her personality is as grating as a naive teenage girl social butterfly.

But just because she's never, ever, EVER where you need her to be.
She'll get in the way when you're trying to fish in navigable water areas.
She wanders around the camp / village areas more than I do when I'm waiting for my friends to get themselves sorted.
She has a minimap icon that is the same color as every other one despite being arguably the most important , and there is no persistent waymark to show you where she's wandered off to when you're ready to post a quest outside of any currently-present free-roam targets.

Don't get me wrong, World's Handler's personality was infinitely worse, but at LEAST you always knew where to find her... for the three or four times you actually went to her instead of the Hub counters or quest boards.

Nah what we actually got was Serious Handler (for a bit) followed by the choice to change between Hey Pard' and Serious Lady.
And then Rise came along and we got b a b e s. And then Sunbreak came and those babes could h u n t. But we also got a soft-spoken princess who was a little annoying but bearably so and noticeably not chiming in during every single notable hunt. That privilege was reserved for Fiorayne who could a l s o h u n t

World Handler was an EXTREMELY ANNOYING GLUTTON who we had to save from an ANGRY PICKLE because she was OUT LOOKING FOR EVEN MORE THINGS TO EAT. When she's not giving you the HEY PARD', she's expositing the obvious or talking about food.
