In short: That is basically useless.
No money left for dedicated gpu? No offense, serious question :)
You might be confused. the 9800x3D is a CPU not a SOC with a GPU built into it. Your integrated GPU is on your motherboard. Check your motherboard model to see what kind of GPU it is to verify what I say next...I am pretty confident that your desktop motherboard doesn't have anything close to a mobile 4090 on it. The GPU on your motherboard is definitely enough to run your OS but gaming on it is going to be a challenge in general and given how this game performs I would suggest you look into getting a dedicated GPU.
What GPU you want will depend on the level of performance and visual fidelity you want. If you have a 9800x3D you have arguably the best gaming CPU money can buy. I won't presume too much but it suggests you can get a decent GPU. Your CPU will outpace any "decent" GPU. If you're looking for parity you will need a "high-end" GPU, if not, the best GPU money can buy.
If you just want to be able to run THIS game comfortably you will not need the best GPU money can buy, but you WILL need something better than integrated graphics BY FAR to have what most would consider a decent playing experience.
Without knowing what you consider to be a decent playing experience I can't really say more that would be helpful to you.
No haha, I've got an RTX 5090 ordered since launch day but still not anywhere near me :/ Might take a few months to get here considering all the stock issues
I apologize?
Something i could have placed a bet on ^^
Sorry but basically all AMD CPU Models except the "F"-models have an iGPU ;)
Haha. I literally laughed. Yes, a 5090 is going to get the job done for sure. Just wait until you get it. Any adventures with your integrated graphics aren't worth it outside of drinking games with your bros.
I truly mean no disrespect, but i think you need to research that again. The iGPU is on your motherboard not in your AMD CPU. Sincerely....look into it.
The quality of graphics, however, not much high quality.
780M can run, so that there will be a possibility for the next gen Steam Deck.
