Or.. accept that 50fps is actually fine in this game, because it's smooth as above 40.
PC upgrades can be really simple, but what usually happens with older systems is one part leads to another part being replaced. Your system should be new enough to support some upgrades. The QVL list can be easily looked up for your mobo if you no longer have the manual it came with.
7800XT would be the AMD equivalent I think
The type of libraries that game devs use to port these games and make it cross platform since 2022 have issues all the time and cause problems like games not even starting due to a large amount of unexpected interactions.
I would wait and see if the game will run AT ALL at launch before investing money to buy hardware to play one game when hardware typically loses value as more time goes on (although recently not due to no real advancement in price-performance or even energy efficiency in GPUs).
The game can be even buggier or run worse than it does now -- it's always possible and something you should think about before dropping money for one game.
Now if you will get performance increases for other games you play, then that's a different story.
I honestly don't think it's worth it, to be blunt.
But you could aim for a 4070Ti/5070Ti
And the upgrades on your motherboard platform have had.. fairly well documented and major problems with degradation and failure. And the Core Ultra range is.. a bit meh.
Honestly, in your position, I'd not bother upgrading the CPU, and either see if you can grab a decently priced 4070Ti or higher.. Or just be happy with what you've got for now.
