It's hardly ever a game itself, unless there is a known issue like a ram leak.
sometimes the MHW just shut itself down .
it crashes unless i activate MSI extreme performance (which is an overclocking if i understand)
i Guess they will fix it, i don't like hearing a noisy laptop (yeah i know desk PC are better but i like to play in different places)
Well for me, (and a lot of other ppl) nothing changed on my PC in the last 2 weeks, beside this patch
same here. tried several ways to "improve" the performance which I don't necessary needed for past 40 hours and still got freeze/steam crash when play MHW
If it was working well before the Patch and suddenly locks up your PC now, i suggest looking into Chip set Updates or downgrades.
Another good idea is to always Grab a dxdiag and send it to the developers if sudden issues arise. It's valuable Information for them to be able to more quickly fix issues that can happen on different Setups using different Software.
If it was kernel 41, thats just notifying you PC was restarted by unusual means (hard restart through power button)
I must mention FPS did drop from a cap of 60 (it fluctuated between 50-60) to ~30 FPS. It improved on monday after the patch to ~40-50 FPS. Personally I don't mind the FPS change as much if it can be stable.
capcom doesnt give a ♥♥♥♥ about this, performance is not their priority
These issues most of the time have zero to do with performance.
I've seen people unable to hit 30 fps in certain games only because they were using a hardware/Software combination like a Sound card which used Software that caused complications.
It's easy to blame a common factor in software development, but most of the time, it's just salty comments like yours that help noone.
i noticed the game goes up to 10GB in the task manager when it crashes. Before when it ran perfectly it was around4GB, idk why it goes skyrocket now
