Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds

Vezi statistici:
Why is everything healing and helping you all the time? Is this game for autist kiddos?
Firstly, I haven't played franchise prior (only a bit of World) and I liked MH Wilds overall.

I mean, I understand they wanted to pull in a broader crowd into new MH installment, and I don't think game doesn't have engaging mechanics or it's a no-brainer, but I have one honest complaint is why everything helps you to win?

Ground obstacles help you, cat helps you, you have endless amount of healing, you also can heal from fireflies, you can stun monster in lots of way not even out of your inventory.

Wouldn't it be cooler if game was at least a bit challenging? People keep saying that game becomes harder at high rank, but it's only if you don't follow very linear progression - if you gear up for each high-rank encounter step by step, you basically can't lose and game is easier than Diablo, which is an insult already.

Why not to make far less resources? Then resource hunt would be actually cool. Why not make monsters with hard to dodge finishing moves? Then killing them would be a lot more cool. Why not to make stuff around not helping you, but make fight challenging?

Why devs nowadays think that easy = intersting. Why did you follow crying kiddos and make games mechanically interesting but so easy those mechanics barely matter. Why to devoid your game of challenge when game is good already.. This idiotism is beyond me.

Edit: hell, there is stuff in psychology that people get triggered at truth more often than not. Seeing such a reaction, only proves I'm right. Thanks folks.

No I don't. I want game to actually have some challenge. Don't you?
it will, and clearly it did for you because you used all the accessibility features they put into the game to benefit casuals.

I've never seen a person like you. You're so persistent and hell bent on posting bad take after bad take, its one thing to enjoy the game because its easiest so far but another to say its hardest yet is sci fi. Hunts take 10-18 minutes? Which hunts? I'm not a speedrunner but I've never done a temp Gore or Ark above 10 mins and I don't even use artian stuff. If that's the standard then imagine how long the other hunts last. Its a total joke.

Played both, especailly ER. Played through it 3 times. Actually ER proves that you can make hard and interesting game.

Also, what do you mean this game easy for me? I have no idea how MH Wilds can be hard for anyone, apart if you are actually challenged irl.
Elden ring is the easiest from software game though, like laughably so. For much of the same reason to. That you have to nerf yourself by not using the busted new toys to make it hard again. This is besides the point that EVERY souls game is hilariously easy in co op anyway.
Totally agree that it's easier than other FS installments, but still lightyears harder than MH Wilds.

maybe because too many st*pid noobs die so easily in 7 - 8 stars SOS. make the quest failed cuz they die 3 times.
No they literally die on 7? I just don't get it, maybe game becomes 10 times harder on 7. Atm I've killed everything on 6 (I think) and didn't even notice it.

I see HR 100+ die on 6 stars when I'm trying to just mass farm mats for armor spheres to make different sets. People underestimate wylk crystal explosions from guardians too often smh.

I just don't believe it bro. They die on 6? WTF. Is it their first game?

Additional new more difficulty fights would be neat yeah,.
But no scarce resources is not "cool", its entirely artificial and adds nothing to the game other than essentially a glorified mobile wait timer until you can fight the next monster

A lot of people also don’t realize you can upgrade armor. Seriously look at their equipment.

Let's say you could farm them from killing bosses, would have made sense. And losing to a boss actually make you become better if you want a more smooth progression.

1) don't use autism to demean others.
2) it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ low rank/high rank, what did you expect? Fatalis?
3) the cat, Support Hunters, vigorwasp, and vigormantle are the only support/endemic life that "heal" you, and they're all avoidable.
I expect that being total newcomer to series I feel challenged more than once in 50 hours. That's what games are made for, are they not?
No. Not in the slightest. Some games? Sure, absolutely. But if "games", in general, were made to challenge you then we wouldn't have games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Candy Crush, Hello Kitty's Island Adventure, Farming Simulator, Trucking Simulator, Flight Simulator, Train Simulator, etc.

Games are made to be fun and not every game is made to be fun for every person on the planet. Fortnite Battle Royale is one of the most popular games on the market and I've played maybe an hour because it's not fun for me. Elden Ring and Dark Souls are "challenging" games but fit into a niche market because most gamers aren't interested in the "you need to be a sweaty try hard to play the game". (which is another massive misconception as Souls games aren't actually some massively difficult franchise, they're designed to be aggravating and that makes them seem harder than they are. Neir Automata on Hard was harder than any Souls game I've played.)

Why would monsters drops herbs and mushrooms, unless you are fighting very specific monsters like the monkey.
This genuinely makes no sensee.

The wylk explosions stack, it can actually do some wild ass damage.
OP should change his Nickname.

As a fan from back in the ps2 days i couldn't disagree more with you. Harder doesn't mean more fun, in fact when devs do that MORE people complain. Resources have always been either scarce or somewhat so. With the changes made in Wilds, i'm glad its easier. Look at my time played, not like i ain't got it. do people just complain to complain now? think outside yourself and you will figure out why the changes made were done the way they were.

Fun should correlate with game's mechanics. If fun makes you utilize game mechanics it's a good fun game, if fun just makes you ignore whole game one shotting it - then it's a bad game. I do believe today's modern gamer sees fun as looking at screen seeing 'WIN' word and being a little happy idiot. Like a child. And in some ways it's fun, but issue is those people haven't even ever tasted actual fun of a game where you can win because you earned it. It's just a deep psychology. Modern games dictate that it's fun, but as once a wise guy said, if there is no challenge, then where is fun?

Also, you comapre MH franchise with train simulator and hello kitty. Hope this will sink in with other fans of MH. Are you fine buddies?

I said I liked the game. But with a bit more challenge, it would have been far more fun.

It would have made sense game wise. Are we playing real life simulator, killing dragons with magic swords? How does this work in your head?
