Possible glitch - HR armor set not unlocking despite killing the monster in question

So I have just killed a tempered Ebony Odogaron and the set has NOT unlocked for me to craft. I am HR 33 and am caught up with story missions. I had someone else tell me they were able to craft the set in the 20s. I double checked my materials and I do have multiple HR Ebony mats in my box. I was able to craft Guardian Anjanath and Dosha armor after killing them no problem.

Has anyone else experienced a glitch like this? I am doing something wrong?

You might be missing a crafting mat

It was traditionally a specific material that unlocked the armor sets not just seeing the monster, check to see if theres any of the drops you havent gotten yet

Make sure you're on the right page on the craft armour page... top of the page should say low rank / high rank click either or press L1/R1. Sometimes you just need more materials from a monster to get the set to show.

After farming him multiple times I was able to get his plate and it unlocked the HR Ebony armor. Which was my case
