Is it easy to get crowns in this game?
I know from experience that getting crowns in Monster Hunter is a huge odyssey. I've still been playing for several hours and I still have many more to go to get all the crowns in MH World. But for some reason in Wilds they appear non-stop! I hunt random monsters that appear on the map and they turn out to have crowns!

I'll leave you with an image so you can see, I haven't killed any monster more than 7 times and I already have crowns! I even killed the glypceros ONLY 2 TIMES AND EACH TIME WAS A DIFFERENT GOLDEN CROWN!

Does this game have very high crown ratios or am I really lucky?

Extremely easy, you can look at the monster with your binoculars and it tells you if it's crown size

This^ :mhwilds_OK:
The first Doshaguma I hunted was a gold crown. I've got a few others already too, so I'd say it's much easier.

I understand, but as far as I understand that only shortens the time you don't have to hunt monsters to find out if they are crowns or not. But here I'm not referring to how easy it is to "know if it's a crown or not" but the ease with which they appear (% probability) even if the game includes a function to detect or not if they are crown monsters it does not directly affect the probability of appearing. What puzzles me here is that many crowns appeared to me in a very short time.

havent got a single miniscule crown but biggest size crown should be easier with the arena monster exploit

You'd need to wait for dataminers to compare such things between world and wilds. But from my personal experience, i haven't had such luck myself.

What are you talking about? This is my first post in the game discussions and it's a real question. I want to know how the percentage of crowns are in the game because it seems strange to me to have gotten so many in such a short time.

If someone hurt you it's not my business, if you're not going to answer about the topic I'm talking about I invite you not to comment your problems :)

It is incredible easy to get crowns.

1. binoculars - shows you crowns

2. exchange of investigations - you fight a crown in freeroam, you save, you always keep crown - you can exchange it in multiplayer

3. multiplayer dedicated link parties - four players searching at the same time in different environments for crowns and then change to the finder's place if a crown is found - it speeds up process of crown search so quick, it is far too easy in comparison to before

I see, I understand that with these strategies it is very easy to get them, but in my case I got these crowns randomly, without looking for them, I never used the binoculars and I always played these hunts alone.

What you and Anime explain is a way to get the crowns in a faster way. But my real question is the percentage of these crowns appearing. In World (with my experience) I notice that it usually has a much lower ratio than here and I don't know if that is real or maybe the probabilities are the same in both games, but as Anime said we will have to wait for the dataminers to know exactly.

Very easy. I did mine extremely quickly, the Apex Monsters were the hardest to do.
Binoculars are OP asf. go Rest and change time resetting map, and just look for crowns. Took me like 9 hrs after I figured it out.

I agree with your impression. But in general I do not think so.

I cannot tell for certain without checking the files which I have not done yet, since it is considered cheating.

But yeah, I get where that is coming from - because it certainly feels that way that the chances are way high up in comparison to the previous games.

Currently I just like to believe in luck and the fact that there is a random chance which triggers higher, simply because you encounter certain monsters quicker due to freeroam.

That and in addition the fact that some quests give crowns by default.

I got my first random crown like 50 hours into the game. So I do not believe the actual % is actually higher than in previous games. But I definitely relate that it can feel that way, seeing the other crowns I got from multiplayer and quests.

I got my 10th Large crown randomly, and then I figured out the Reset - Binocular combo and I just farmed out the rest. took me like 63k Guild Points, but it was worth it. It is 100% much easier than World, I think solely because we can reset map extremely easy. Without that, it would of easily taken me a week. Being able to do that at any Camp spot, is insanely OP.

I think the same, I would like to believe that I was very lucky in getting all these crowns in a short time and not that the appearance percentage is higher, crown hunting is something I like to do and I like to think that it is an achievement with quite a bit of merit behind it, getting them in an easier way would not give me the same satisfaction.

i been hunting for 2 days, like around 30hrs and i only managed to collect 6 gold biggest 3gold miniature. its probably rng , my luck.

thing is map events are so random sometimes such stupid things happen, for ex i came across 7 kut-ku at same time, acting as a pack, even they re different event entries. so ye, you need to wait like half an hour for them to disappear.

such things make it a bit slow progress.
