Is this a bug? (No. of Campsites)

When talking to the campsite management palico it said that my Windward Plains campsite is at 0/5 but I only have 3 camps down and I can't put anymore camps down.

Is this a bug? or am I doing something wrong ?

isnt it something like 0 is the number you have available to put down and 5 is how many areas you could put it in? Idk i forget the details but i remember being confused by it at first too

So if it reads "0/5" the 0 is how many camps you have remaining to put down, where 5 is the maximum number you can have placed.

The issue here is that even though it reads 0/5, I can only see 4 camps that I've put down, so either a camp isn't displayed in the menu somewhere or I simply lost a camp slot into the ether. :/

Update

I figured it out.
I don't know what causes the bug, but I found out what it's doing and how to fix it.
The problem is there is a camp set up that is missing from the menu somewhere, so you have to compare the ones in the menu with the ones you are able to fast travel to, find the one that isn't on the menu, fast travel to it, take it down, and put it back up. You should have everything correct after that!

i dont remember exactly from where/when but you unlock more camp slots as you progress the game, i think the max is 5 but most areas have more than that many places you can put them
try looking at all the spots in the plains and destroy/rebuild some camp and see if the numbers change. theres like 4 spots you can place them in around the edges of the big savanna area alone

edit: ah ok so it was a bug, i'm glad you figured it out
