Difficulty Spike?
So I have seen several reviews talking about how easy Wilds is and I must say, it is so far laughably easy. Does the difficulty ramp at any point or is it like this the whole way through including end game? If not I guess it fine, the game is fun regardless its just with all the quality of life adds to the game I don't think nerfing the monsters was necessary.

Possibly bait, but if not who cares if you don't have to grind for hours if the game is still fun?

There's only a couple monsters at the very end of the end game that actually have a challenge to them I recommend looking for difficulty mods that increase monster HP and damage they do then it'l at least feel like proper high rank stuff.

I'm using the very hard version of the mod and it feels pretty solid.
Hard seems to be the one most people seem to like.

This is it tbh. The game has been super streamlined to appeal to the biggest audience possible so most of the hardships are gone
I feel like i'm playing a different game compared to the others complaining about it being "easy". Monster can and will 2 shot you from full health, in sos missions it can get even more chaotic as the monster becomes less predictable. I'm still seeing plenty of people carting, hunts are taking an average of 12 minutes to complete in sos,

I have played since tri, and the game does not feel any harder than it, my days of getting bodied against a great jaggi are long gone, but i still make mistakes, i sometimes get lazy or over eager, and i still get punished for it.

The only monsters capable of two shotting you are tempered arkveld and tempered gore unless ur still using low rank armor or something. The wound system makes multiplayer a stunlock fest for the monster since they generate so quickly

Jin dahaad double beam, doshaguma slam combo, rathalos sweep into fire breath. I was in full guardian rathalos armor with ice resistance 3 on it, and i entered the are to get hit by an ice beam from jin dahaad that took 80% of my health.

its easier for experienced players for sure, and more welcome for new ones. i liked it. about the dificult spike.. you will see you health bar gone with a single hit later dont worry, but not all monster will be able to do it.

He's probably dying a lot and wants to know if it's going to get even harder to decide to drop or keep playing.

As a new player to MH, I only carted 2 times throughout the whole time I've been playing so far. But the monster that's the most challenging imo is Tempered Gore Magala but it's not really saying much in terms of difficulty.

Yeah the Wilds bring a lot of QOL improvements and much more fluent combat but in difficulty is way too easy. All this time playing HR I got carted only once because I turn off my brain and went full auto-pilot charging GS like a moron.
