"Session Full"

I'm getting this constantly when trying to join sessions since the latest update today.

I've restarted my PC, my game, and I simply cannot join a SOS flare. But I can perfectly fine sit in an online lobby?

What gives.

Maybe the sessions are full? Are you looking at the quest start time?

If you are trying to join popular lobbies like Tempered Arkveld etc, there is a high chance you'll be late to click first. You need to understand that with crossplay, this game has active 1 million players playing at the same time all the time. High level hunts are most popular ones because of artian 8 and deco 3 farms.

Try on lobbies with less demand, just to see if the problem is on you or not. For example try tempered lala barina, 100% you'll join lobbies without any issue. If you still get the same error, then yes its on you.

Tempered Arkveld and Gore are hard to join, most of the time it's either "session full" or some communication error. I think they just get filled and removed from search but it doesn't update on your screen until you close the whole thing and search SOS again. I don't waste time trying to join any investigation with those two monsters if they were created any longer than 0 minutes ago.

Edit: Even then it's hard to join one so you need to keep trying or find your own investigations, those are easy to find on the map at least. Make sure to check world map from time to time.

they fill up before you join. everyone wants to join the same stuff. just keep trying and go faster, find slightly less perfect hunts to join since most people click on one of the first 3 in the list

I'm in a private lobby with a friend of mine who has an 8 star Tempered Arkveld investigation saved. They put it up with Accept and Prep but I *still* can't join it. It says "Player(s) failed to join because of multiplayer settings." and has all options except for decline invitation available to me. Both of us are set up properly for multiplayer though, and have been running other investigations just fine?

I get that often as well but it literally is just the session is full.
It doesn't count the players all trying to already join that server tell they are IN the hosted map.

So while it may say 2/4 or even 1/4 in reality people are already loading into that map.

check your cross platform settings

AI can fill it as well if they dont turn that option off not sure if AI gets kicked if a real person trys to connect tho

The support hunters do get replaced when real people join, yes

try joining poopy reward quests. you'll get in right away and realize it's cus you're trying to join good reward lobbies 20 other ppl are clicking on.
