Asian PS5-Version -> german language
Hey Folks,
currently i am in Thailand. I bought the asian version of MH: Wilds for PS5.
However, I now wonder if I have the possibility to use German texts and German audio in this version. Do any of you also have the Asian version and could you answer that for me? I do NOT have the Japanese version, but the Asian version.

I'm not really up to date with Playsationt region locks or whatever, but if you outright bought a "Asian" version, I suppose that might be locked to "local" languages?

One (obvious) thing you could try is changing your playsations system language to german, but I guess you already tried that.

Oh and don't bother with german (or english) audio. Too much talking seriously.

Oh man, that's a good point. I just hope it still has German texts. I don't know if my English is good enough to understand everything in Monster Hunter Wilds :D

Nope, i didn‘t try it, cause right now i‘m still in Phuket.
Any "version" you purchase still requiring to select a language of your choice.

I think you are confusing yourself.

I hope so, but maybe there are simply no German texts in the Asian version. There are games where this is actually the case on the PlayStation.

Sure why not?
I brought the SEA version and I still see German voice over option, not sure about text tho.

On the PS5 there are games that have different languages in different versions. So although German texts are basically available, a version does not have this.

What is the „sea version“?
And you got it for the PS5? :)

I brought it here on steam, PC version.
So I don't think I can tell what PS5 version gonna get.
And SEA version is probably is your Asia version.
(SEA stand for "South East Asia" btw)

But I do see German voice over in my game option.
So it's should be available to you too unless Sony did something funny again.

Good to know. Then probably really the same version.

„Unless Sony did something funny again“ That's exactly my fear.

But thanks for your help! :)
It will depends on your PS store / Game store. I used to live in UK but I owned a Spanish PS store account, as my games did not have Spanish text or voice unless they were bought in the spanish store. If you travel and bring your PS with you, I do recommend to gete them online from your region (germany ps store), otherwise PC will always have all languages available.
