Troll post.
IIrc the only thing adding difficulty in Sunbreak endgame is the fact monsters can now almost one shot you with normal moves. Sounds very "challenging" indeed.
That's what still gets me about people who make that claim, the game's still new enough that having 100 hours in it already means they've been playing for about 10 hours every day so far, that's pretty much all the time someone could put into it assuming they work a full-time job and get a relatively normal amount of sleep each night. And putting that kind of time into something you're actively disliking seems nuts.
I also think playing 100 hours to realize you didn't like it is very fair, i would say it's more fair than playing 5 hours and complain the game sucks.
I whoever think people just need to let things go, sometimes people play things that they know they don't enjoy but keep playing just to write their opinions like if the world would care, maybe it's a generation problem.
Everyone want to show how much they liked or hated something, and most of people are so irony poisoned nowadays that hating something is usually the cool thing to do.
or, maybe, It's just that this is the wrong MH for him. maybe he should actually try world or rise (if he liked this game's combat, rise might be a bit closer to home)
Yes, it was just released and people actually are finished, even NEW players. This just show how both easy AND lacking of content and lacking of actual grind the game is. you do know there's such a thing as Too much Streamlining? Did you know that the game's peak Player base on steam is already down to 758K from 1.3 million in just one week?
the fact that so many people are being critical of MHW even during the honeymoon phase is an extremely bad sign.
2. Yep that's how monsters work. They have a set moveset.
3. When event quests come in more quantity there will be challenging fights for interesting rewards similar to previous iterations of the games.
4. Complete all the achievements. Make a fashionable wardrobe. Learn every weapon if you want? Even with 100 hours you won't have mastered a single weapon. You'll be ok, or even good at one, but not mastery.
I don't even mind how easy it is now to get the decos that you wanted, but they could've put a wall or two in high rank or post-post story, to at least justify actually farming for gear...
I recommend playing World/Iceborne since the post-game bosses actually require you to farm gear and not get hit.
