Crash on startup

2 week already still cant start the game. My spec is rtx 4070. Already did the capcom guide but still the same. What should i do?

Same here, crash on start up just past selecting the menu to start. Seems to have started happening right after their small 683MB patch this morning.

Well there's your problem. Your computer is only a GPU. You kinda need other parts to run a system and game. No one can give any help on just a GPU alone. I wish people would realize this and stop putting so much weight on just that one single piece of hardware.

Please elaborate more on your system so people can give you better help. Full hardware details, gpu driver, settings, etc. This way others of similar build can recommend tips or suggest other fixes.

Dumb everything down to very low then pump it back up after your first hunt

Try reverting to an older windows build, it was the only thing that fixed it for me.

Same thing happened to me, the game was running just fine before, I never crashed once whatsoever I have 80 hours on game already. After the patch whenever I try to start a mission or fast travel the game just crashes.

If any of you have any mods try uninstalling/deleting the mod files, verify integrity, then try to open the game. Yes that even means visuals like Reshade.

Installing the latest Nvidea drivers fixed for me. nut sure if it is the drivers it self or it resetting something else

I dont have any mods installed, It only started when the recent patch came. I even reinstalled the game.

same here, had one crash in 40 hours, now it crashes everytime i start the game, checked every driver and setting, verified the gamefiles 600 times and reinstalled the game, nothing works

Same here I was able to play the game before the new Ver.1.000.05.00 update but now I cant even start it correctly without crashing.
