Imagine trying to shoot a bowgun when 80% of your screen is bird ass?
It blocks my view IN COMBAT. It positions itself right in front of the damned camera and obscures all my shots. For bonus points sometimes it just runs directly into my line of fire and stops there, then starts yelping when I shoot through it.
We don't need to hide it. It just ought to stay out of combat since the damned thing can't fight. It is a transport animal. It doesn't need to loiter nearby in the middle of a fight..... especially given the only time it seems to not be around is when it is being summoned to chase a monster. For some reason THEN and ONLY THEN it has gone somewhere completely different.
If they made it actually fight like a Palamute it would be far better. Also be less tall like a Palamute. In fact they should have just brought Palamutes back.
