try recompiling shaders (delete shader.cache and shader.cache2 from monhun folder) and updating your chipset driver from your motherboard manufacturer. Those are the two most likely solutions.
Also, turning on resizable BAR in your bios helps tremendously. ^^'' This is good for you too Crusty.
Another thing to be aware of is that REEngine uses AVX-512 instructions, and intel 12th gen and beyond dropped support for it. It needs to be emulated in these cases, which might lead to performance issues and crashes. AMD still fully supports the instruction set.
I will try clear cache tyvm.
Read every reply I think it might have to do with intel 12th gen bcoz I have i7 12700kf never have this problem before update and play every other game just fine.
What's your mobo...
Bet it's overclocked automatically depedening on the mobo.
If it's an Asus mobo it's overclocked.
Post your CPU-Z screenshot.
Edit here's mine for an example:

People have said in Reddit posts that it is attributed to Undervolting the GPU and possibly Overclocking
I set my card to "default" settings and I think it helped a bit but still this is absolutely horrible as it started happening basically after I beat the Black Octopus boss
Check your mobo manufacturer on how to properly do this.
While you are there make sure your memory is at the correct XMP profile.

Regardless it's an issue relating to the CPU, particularly with voltage/power. You may want to disable C States in bios and set your PC to maximum performance for a bit and see if it keeps up. Also try removing the power cable to your PSU and allowing 2-5 minutes before plugging it back in and restarting the pc.
That's not the cpu tab go one left... tab that says CPU.
Depending on your XMP and BIOS setting it can auto apply them.
Did you update your Mobo bios? https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-Z690-EDGE-WIFI-DDR4/support
Make sure the bios is updated.
Update your bios, Bet it fixes the watchdog timer issue.
Your BIOS is 15 updates behind including P state and microcode fixes (literally watchdog issues)
