love how people keep posting this like it's some kind of "gotcha" when being critical and having fun isn't mutually exclusive.
No, actual endgame chapter 6 tempered Arkveld is the only endgame monster in the game.
For me it's finished, have played mh since mhfu, will stop with this one.
Yeah because it's the Flagship monster of the game and you're playing pre-title update basegame Monster Hunter.
When TU1 drops we're getting confirmed Mizutsune with a difficulty above Tempered and a monster that hasn't been confirmed yet. Historically, these will be 8 Star difficulty quests minimum along with Tempered Arkveld and its duo hunts.
More and more will be added until they announce the expansion which will add Master Rank and a huge spike in difficulty, more gear rarity tiers to grind for, a new tool of some kind, and then the rest of the game's life will see more content added over time until the next MH game gets announced at which point Wilds will go on maintenance mode with Events running as normal, probably see a "Return To" event like World and Rise did to a lesser extent organized by players, and then you do it all again.
Moving the goalpost fallacy.
