Dude, i LITERALLY have not made it to fatalis, i haven't even gotten to successfully fight Gold and silver raths yet in world. I am NOT a good MHVet player. And i never said without tools, i said WITH the tools at your disposal. You have openly revealed that you don't actually pay attention to tutorials (don't worry, i get it).
I do not struggle in this game, i have stuggled in every game. Yes, MH has gotten easier over time thanks to QOL changes. however, this game is still WAAAAAY to easy.
You aren't understanding the nuance, there's a difference between a mechanics floor and mechanics ceiling. If you assume the skill floor is picking up a weapon and just using basic attacks till the monster dies or it kills you then sure all monster hunters are the same in that silly argument to want to be right. In reality the skill/mechanic learning ceiling is higher in newer games even if you don't partake in each and every system, even if you just take little bit from one or two as you learn the game are you gonna sit there and tell me Wilds doesn't have more mechanics to help a new player? More weapon abilities changes to offer more skill value?
Another thing I've noticed, people didn't understand capturing in world, in Wild I've ran into like 1(?) capture quest.
I did, and true, it really says to attack the same point again and again. BUT it doesn’t tell you about the rising skill level by using, for example, multiple level ones.
And the third point is exactly that... you... need... to learn.
And to learn means to be forgiven for mistakes. If every time you make a mistake, you get killed, you don’t have fun. That’s why healing potions and such exist.
If forgiveness weren’t an option in Monster Hunter, then you wouldn’t need items to heal. But they’re there to forgive you and every player for the mistakes they make, so they can learn.
Holy cow, someone gets it. Thank you.
you are comparing G rank to High rank right there..
If you say a lot of people understood capturing as I've seen so many quests fail or people ignore the trap on the ground to keep damaging the monster to not get rarer materials then we are at a weird point. Understanding the capture mechanic would mean new players do engage in the game mechanics and having more and better mechanics available to be use would make Wilds an easier game would you not agree?
I didn't compare anything, wrong quote.
The world thing i was wrong about, ignore it. In MHWilds, capture is ALMOST better than slaying due to the fact the rewards aren't locked behind slay and cap. however, you can give a food skill that gives you 3 Additional Carves, which makes it actually DETRAMENTAL to cap a monster.
This is untrue, mantles and gems have a percentage chance on capture in iceborne. Dont spread misinformation.
I'm not, i was talking about how the person was saying i was a Fatalis god 999mr hunter.
And G rank is Harder than HR, it's a fact....but HR has ALWAYS been hard and i think people don't realize this because they have retro actively lowered Monster HP in Low/high rank in base MHWorld and other things when iceborne was released. HR in MH4U was the same HR in MH4, same with Gen and Gen U. The only time this WASN'T the case was MH3U where they reduced the Monster's HP by 50% in base game (you could kill village a great jaggie in 30secs with the starting GS when it use to take at LEAST a minute in both Tri and portable 3rd)
Monster hunter use to be Hard, I even thought rise, despite being easier then world, was still hard. Not this game, never this game.
alright you're right, just looked at Kiranico... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does MHWorld lie to you.
Check it again)
