So what's the WORST weapon?
I like to grab whatever "sucks" as a secondary. One thread said HH, I saw someone say Hammer, so it sounds like some skulls are going to become concave. The question is... is it a Classic Rock cave-in, or is it a Metal cave-in?

Or is it something else entirely?

The hunting horn gets the worst times solo, however it's also probably the best weapon for multiplayer, since it's main role is to support your team rather than deal damage.

The hammer has the 2nd worst times without any advantage.

The longsword is a great weapon, however nobody will like playing with you, also it's just a cringe weapon.

If I had to pick I'd say the longsword, not only will you suck as a teammate, but your testosterone levels will also decrease irl while you are using it.

They're all good. I'll take the jester awards.

I am biased for longsword and gunlance however they're really cool.
Make the slinger your secondary weapon

There is none. All weapons are great.

toot horn :summeryeti:
Depends on what you're hunting. Bringing a hammer to a fast moving target with a teeny tiny head or resistance to bludgeoning will be difficult for the uninitiated.

The one you suck most with.

There is no "worst" weapon if you are not speed runner.
ever try the environment damage only run, it might be the best worse way to kill a monster
It's kinda funny people say hammer is bad. I only started playing hammer in older games because people were too bad at the game to break monster parts.

Whichever one you main.
Depends on how you define worst. If the worst is the one with the slowest clear times, then I wouldn't be surprised if one of the Lances were bottom. If worst is the amount of players playing those weapons, then I'm not sure if that data is available yet.

nothing is "bad" but i'd say depends on if you are playing solo. hunting horn buffs can offset the lesser amount of damage you are doing but your hunt times solo will be slower

The Lances are actually doing really well in Wilds. Gunlance is among the top damage dealers and Lance is still middle of the pack. Lowest are Hunting Horn, Hammer and also SnS.
Hunting Horn probably. It's like hammer but less bark.

Most turtling weapons benefit from the new wounds mechanic, so lance and gunlance no longer suffer the way they used to.
