I don't dislike it, but I do prefer the MHFU or the World version more than Wild's one.
When it come to "art", it's kinda subjective.
Go to youtube and listen to the music. None it has clear musical theme that gets repeated. Music in Monster Hunter always worked together with action, here its just background slop with no real purpose. That's why it doesn't feel memorable, because its not designed to be.
How did the creators of the Monster Hunter screwed this so hard? They were the ones who made previous games, why didn't they made themes to compliment action and monsters?
Astera theme will always have a place in my heart. I met my wife while I was playing through MHWorld. It's just such a good tune. You can let it repeat for a long time and it barely wears out its welcome.
Older ones are fine, but this one sounds less saturday morning cartoon.
Also some bangers to be had in ice shard/wyveria ruins. One sounded very reminiscent of odogaron ala rotten vale that made my winky tingle. Arkveld has some nice ones as well.
