Worth purchasing?
I am not worried about performance, I got 215-230 FPS on the demo.

Is it "actually fun" and replayble... Never really actively played a monster hunter game.

Absolutely. It took time for me back then to get hooked. But once you are hooked, you will love it. It is definitely worth a try. See here section Understand Monster Hunter for what awaits you regarding the core gameplay

Its is, if you have a PC that can run 200 fps on max you should definitly buy it
This PC Mar 9 @ 9:58am
You'll easily get 100-120 hours out of it. If you liked the demo, it's just more of the same. :P

Yeah, it was set to Ultra on a 32GB RAM, RX 7900 XTX, and Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Frame rate is great, no screen tearing, and heat was not bad after a 15 minute test.

---

Thanks all, I'll give it a shot and at least see how the first 2 hours goes.

Oh, the first two hours will not suffice for the hooker to really sink in.

If it does, you are lucky. You will see what I mean once you have to really struggle and win for the first time.

Otherwise I recommend checking out MH:W / MHR for cheap if you want to save money.
I was not sure the first days after release... (bc 44% positive on Steam. Right now 61% / 78% positive from players with over 10hours play-time)

i bought it a few days ago and i love it.
Yeah i got a High end system with a 4090... but i play in 4k Max. (DLSS 4 Qual. +FG)
Game runs good on my System (no crash issues, stutter issues/ghosting....)
FPS between 120-150

And now after 10 Hours i cant stop playing.
So much fun and i like the story. Not so good like Cyberpunk 2077 or Horizon but still good.

Its on you.
If you like MH games i would give it a try

Look forward for the addon.

The best comes usually a year later. Especially Monster Hunter Rise brought the series onto a new level in that regards, making it a fan favourite among long-term MonHan fans in Japan.

The sad thing about that:
I totally forgot the DLC from MH World.
Just played without the DLC
This time i dont forget it!

but it was still enough fun. (World)
And i can use my IG in Wilds again <3

Nope its not worth they give us arkveld monster but problem is there is no reason farming it its too easy
Fun for a a playthrough about 50ish Hours and if you like the grind you can pump some more hours into untill event quests and MR releadles
Game is a bit short on content compared to other Monster Hunter games. 40 hours in and feels like I've already seen all that the game has to offer.

I recommend waiting a few months or maybe a year for content updates. Maybe try World or Rise in the meanwhile.
If you have never played a Monster Hunter then I would strongly advise World and its Iceborne expansion instead for now. Modern MH games simply don't release anywhere near complete, lacking in their roster of monsters and coming up short with the challenge.

World/Iceborne with all of its content updates long behind us, feels like a tremendously richer full fat experience. It is still very popular now, retaining players even better than the later released Rise, and the extra players accumulated from the Wilds hype has visibly outweighed the losses from the Wilds release.

Wilds is okay, but I definitely would not have settled for the price if their wasn't that expectation of a lot of future content. I remember feeling that World was very mid when I first completed it near release, but then when I came back and continued my save multiple years after Iceborne released it felt like a true 'best in its class' sort of game.
