FIX the damn bird...

So many times now, I'm riding around on the stupid bird and it just won't auto jump off ledges where it's supposed to be able to. I have to manually jump off, and then re-summon the bird every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time.

Re-summoning the bird also takes a stupidly long time sometimes, it should be near instant. Sometimes I have to spam it for a good 5-6 seconds before it comes and picks me up. Sometimes it's straight away. Why?

Makes the game frustrating to play, especially in zones where bird traversal is basically necessary.

There's a trick: Press the run key/button to jump down when it doesn't work automatically.

Just let them fly at this point, like black chocobos. Why not?
