AMD drivers 25.3.1 blocks monster hunter
Does anyone have the problem that when updating drivers on the RX 7800 XT Monster Hunter it crashes? I can't even play.

You can always revert back to old drivers. Elite Dangerous was impossible to run for almost 6+ months. Take the loss for your own sanity, in time it will get fixed.

currently playing totally fine on 24.12.1 if you need a reference version to revert too, thanks for the heads up to not update!

I didn't update yet because the game is running rather well for me right now on 25.2.1 drivers. I was really close to updating though. I had already downloaded the new ones and everything.
I was worried something worse like that might happen if I did, since this game seems really sensitive to drivers.

I do occasionally get crashes in the last area (Wyveria)... but they are somewhat rare. I was hoping the new drivers would FIX that, but....
Now this topic has me worried there is something wrong with the new drivers, or the game using them... lol I guess I'll hold off on the update for a while...

ran it all day yesterday on 25.3.1 without a single crash on an rx 6800 after updating.
had a single crash on 25.2.1, ran fine otherwise.

Oh, also OP.... You might want to try deleting your shader cache and verifying the game files and try again, just to be sure it wasn't something else causing the crash.

That's good to know!

I have a 7800 xt as well and I haven't had any crashes since the update. If I was you, I'd revert back to the last driver.

Same card. I do not have this problem. Did you already try DDU?
Sylcrax Mar 10 @ 5:33am
I did everything with DDU but it keeps crashing only on MHWiLDS
does ur amd adrenaline thing say driver timed out when you crash in game? that means the driver crashed and u should probably roll back and definitely undo any OC/UV if u do any of those
I have a 6800XT and when the game first launched it would crash during Shader Cache every-time. Now I crash when fighting monsters. I just been playing other games till we get updates for this game or AMD driver support.

I bought a 9070 xt and the only option for me is the 25.3.1 unfortunately. Game ran fine since Thursday but today/last night it just wont stay running

I run it on 9070xt too.
Game can run normally yesterday, but it crash after few min today.
(My driver was 25.3.1 yesterday)

I use a 6650xt and am on 25.1.1 and it is working fine for me but i am going to update to new drivers and will let you know

All AMD drivers 25.x.x are much lower 1% lows; they are unstable drivers. Your best bet is to use 24.12.1 like everyone else suggested.
