lance is no skill
literally just mash buttons depending on if u need to move forward or sit still, and occasionally block = win.

context: i like hammer. even horn hammer. At least u have to be aware of move sets and run far enough away. lance, u just camp there and wait until ur block ticks, then continue poking. when i switch to lance from hammer, everything just breaks and is a cake walk. completely different from MH world where hammer was basically the breaking machine. no effort needed. just all the max loot with hammer in world. thats what the lance is now.

If you want to be able to block everything, then play lance. I certainly did not pick it so i would have to dodge.

Guard UP is lance's friend. Also palico as heals.

to be fair, Fabios' help during the Gore Madgala fight was nuts. He just stunlocked that entire fight for me.

Is it time to become one of the meta slaves and use a lance too? Am I missing out on the true way to play? Poke-poke-pokepokepoke-big poke

Games like these always been a personal challenge, u can make it easy for yourself aka lance poke of u can go and learn weapons and self-improve. It's not like this is a compeditive mmo
