do roars feel easier to dodge through?
began noticing this yesterday and have been wondering about it. i guess it's possible i just got better at dodging through them but considering i went from basically never succeeding at it at all to pretty consistently dodging through every roar in a hunt i'm wondering if it's possible they just made the timing easier? has anyone else noticed this?

and its somehow other way for me, in world i was evading roars left and right , here its very inconsistent. i either need more practice or somethings wrong, its like there s some sort of input lag but i cant describe it, cant quite put my finger on it.

You might always be using equipment with the skill that extends your i-frames.

Personally, I'm wondering why some roars damage your weapon sharpness when you block them.

because... mini plesioths hit your weapon when a monster roars.

maybe? i don't recall slotting evade window into anything until earlier today, but i could have just not noticed. i guess either way the easier dodge is appreciated lol. sharpness thing is definitely strange, sounds like an oversight/potential bug, hope it gets fixed soon.

What's weird is that it's seemingly different between every monster, even ones of the same species and rank. I've had one Tempered Arkveld's opening roar knock off a full color grade, while another's roar only caused the block knockback.

First off, no thats a joke, if thats rude to you, get off the internet. And the only other reply I have on you is informing you gore in in the trailer so it doesnt need to be put in spoilers, dont even try to spread misinformation mate.

They're much easier to dodge than Rise, same as World.
The real reason is they dont have lingering hitboxes, You used to be unable to evade gravios roar because of it.
