Crashing more frequently the more I play - Help? dxdiag, config crash report included
Made a thread before but it was promptly ignored. I crashed a lot in Wyveria, but now I'm crashing a lot everywhere. It wasnt like this when I played for the first few dozens hours, it's crashing more as I play. I tried a few fixes but nothing worked. I didn't even change any settings. The only modifications I have installed in reframework and a reshade which did work fine for a long time with no changes.

It usually happens when I'm on a hunt, and the monster is fleeing, or after killing the monster and other small monsters are around. I was wondering if there's anything I can do to reduce the chance of this happening? I will share my specs, config dxdiag and the crashreport. I'm gonna take a guess and say most of these crashes are the same cause, they all seem to happen the same way.

Specs:
Windows 10 pro
Ryzen 5 5600 (default clock)
Radeon 6700 XT (12 gb)
32 DDR4 ram
NVME m.2
AMD Adrenalin drivers 24.12.1.

https://pastebin.com/iwZvd6yb <-dxdiag

To add, no, I am not using the HD texture pack.

The update that added the event quests back on Thursday is what did 'something' to me negatively. Prior to that since launch the game was running perfectly on my rig.

At this present moment I think when it's relation to HARD CRASHES they did something else with that update aside from unlocking some event quests.

I know it's not the most helpful answer but, wanted to give my own insight as this is currently my biggest issue right now. A game that was working otherwise fine literally crashes my PC now because of an event quest update. I would assume that if anyone that wasn't experiencing crashes prior to Thursday, that it may be because of this update that they are now.

Come to think of it that is around where my Wyveria crashes started happening when the crashes picked up. You might be on to something...well, hopefully they noticed that for the upcoming patch but im not getting my hopes up too high.
Same thing here, the game was running fine, but in the part where the dogshauma is energized the game crashes, I can't finish the fight because the game crashes

update, I did a clean reinstall of drivers, reframework, and a bunch of performance fixes, no change, it still crashes during hunts. Only 15 minutes of the exe being active too so shouldnt be a memory issue. I guess Im not allowed to play anymore.

The problem is the game, not you. Plenty of people having the same problem. From an end user standpoint, the game is crashing at random.

While you write such, your DxDiag report clearly indicates memory issues.

There is also an issue which might be related to Visual C++

Use this

if you need a guide on how to replace DLL see the section Special Troubleshooting: Replace DLLs in this one
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3235564264
check first if it works without replacing the DLLs which are causing you issues, by using the installers inside

Once everything is done, while you are in safe mode use these commands in terminal

sfc /scannow DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /AnalyzeComponentStore DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup chkdsk /f /r

and with everything done, use tip #7 from here
