have you tried been under constant monster aggro before? you never ever lose the aggro without the palico or a passing large monster, and the game is designed around multiplayer.

world even lets you turn off the palico healing, idk why vigorwasps are forced here

Bringing the Palico is optional.

They also get sent back to camp if more than 1 other person Joins you. They're literally just a placeholder support.

after having a gear system in place for palicos, leaving them at base quite pointless. wasteful. thats not the solution, neither nerfing recovered hp amount.

i think best thing would be increasing cooldown of the ability.
