Field Survey from SOS not saving in Field Survey History

So I've been messing around with some Field Survey SOS flares recently to see what random stuff other people have and I've noticed that those field survey missions aren't saving to my field survey history. At first, I thought it was because I already had 12/12 in my survey history so I freed some space up there by turning a few of them into investigations and deleting them. With only 4/12 field survey missions in my field survey history tab, the field surveys from the SOS flares I've been joining haven't been saving to the history. I've double checked the last 3 SOS flares I've went on to ensure that they said field survey on the hunt info on the right before joining. I've completed all of the SOS flares that I've joined so leaving/being removed isn't the culprit (at least not in this case). Anyone know the cause or a fix? Would really like to help people on SOS field surveys AND get a possible investigation out of it as well.
