depending on what OS you are using and what your system specs are it might be a different problem for you. id be happy to include more details on what i did if you want. im using a linux system

Edit: AMD Adrenalin had chipset drivers and an update, now the game is compiling shaders and its taking quite a long time just like when i first launched it. Good chance this fixes it for me perhaps?
