Arkveld weak to dragon, so why am i seeing 0?

I hit arkveld with big cahrge blade hits of dragon element. And it does literally 0. I thought it was supposed to be weak to dragon so whats going on here?

You got inflicted with Dragonblight, which mean all your elemental damage goes to 0

then why am I seeing 0 when the only status effect at the moment of me dealing the 0 dmg WAS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CURED FRENZY

he is not weak to dragon. Dragon is the element he is LESS RESISTANT against. Arkveld is resistant to all elements including dragon.

Exactly, which is why it's the "recommended elemental attack" to use against Arkveld.

He is weakest to dragon, but if you look closely in the hunters notes, it mentions that his chains take 0 elemental damage. And that's from everything. They still take status from what I can tell, but the chains specifically take no elemental damage from any source.
