Safi weapon crafting > Artian
Having reached far enough now to dabble in some Artian crafting, just why can't you replace 1 of the 5 modifiers? I preferred how you could do Safi crafting way more, as you could just roll modifiers and decide to pick or skip what popped up.

Now I gotta refarm and recraft the entire weapon and then pray to all that's holy ALL 5 modifiers roll what I want? Or am I missing some crucial step here to somewhat influence or steer what I want to get?

“Long term engagement”

Check a video on YouTube for how to farm golden tickets before it gets patched
Artian crafting is ten thousand times better because of one simple fact. You dont need to run Safi thousand times.

Not getting the perfect rolls also isnt a big deal. Game has nothing you need them for, yet. It's something to do until there is.

Maybe so, but design wise, Safi weapons win by a mile. Artian weapons are ugly as sin.

I mean, I tried manipulating the RNG via saving and loading, there really isn't any such thing as perfect rolls by most definitions. As the game seems to stop you from stacking certain stats higher than 3 times.

Say you want affinity Artian bow that has 20% affinity granted from parts, and 25% from all 5 upgrades being affinity. So a 45% affinity bow. Well, the RNG is fixed to the point where you can't seem to get more than 3 affinity upgrades from reinforcing. So the weapon can only ever go up to 35% affinity on a base level.

At least, my own testing of loading to main menu without saving seems to suggest it was impossible. 40+ bows never resulted in me seeing affinity more than 3 times on an Artian weapon. I say 40+ because you need to craft a bow every time to advance the RNG and see different upgrades.

There are "perfect" rolls, depending on build.

Getting tripple affinity parts +tripple affinity boost with refining you can easily get 100+% crit chance and enable many potential builds. Getting a free 25% damage boost permanently (which can be increased even more).

It does quite a lot.

And I have three Artisan Weapons which rolled Affinity three times. No clues how it looks for bows but it should be possible.

edit: just tried to do it with random fire parts and it was in fact tripple affinity on my first try:

I've seen YouTubers with 4x of the same, so it should definitely be possible with insane luck/grind. Unless these people manipulated files with modding to allow perfect crafts.

I have a 3x Ele 2x Atk longsword with paralysis, which I have been running for a while, and tbh, I doubt I would get better, so Im not really willing to try unless I get bored. And even then, making paralysis 400 instead of 350.. idk how much real benefit I would get. If it were pure element, sure, maybe I would try but idk.

Apparently, there are seeds to them, so you can, if you have enough parts, save scum it. So you can basically just craft an item X amount of times until you get the seed you want, and then write down the # it took, and just make trash and dismantle until your seed comes up. Which, basically means you need to be farming the flower and turning into gold tickets to have enough parts to do it "legit".

I saw cowboy with a 4x ele dual blade, and he even said you probably have a better chance at winning the lottery. Havent tested the seed "strat" myself, but Im just not really min maxing, and I think its fun to theory craft the "perfect weapon", but I suppose it can be done, if you have enough parts and more importantly, patience.

4x affinity rolls though? I've seen 5x raw attack rolls back to back, but never affinity. Also, mods might just make illegitimate items sorta like with Rise, where people cheated for charms that couldn't exist, and when Capcom patched it, it corrupted their saves.

The fact that it can only be 3 affinity upgrades out of 5 is what I'm talking about. It's hard capped at 3 the highest. Not 5. So there isn't much to roll for.
