Let's Talk About Fishing

Let's talk about fishing. I feel like all the whoppers are in the Scarlet Forest, but I could be wrong and just wanted to check. I also want to check if there are any rare fish that I'm missing. Here's a list of the fish I've found so far.

Whoppers:

Great Trevally - Scarlet Forest, Area 17 during Plenty
Speartuna - Scarlet Forest, Area 17 during Plenty
Gastronome Tuna - Scarlet Forest, Area 17 and Area 12 during Fallow
Gajau - Scarlet Forest, Area 17 and Area 12 during Plenty and Fallow
Goliath Squid - Scarlet Forest, Area 17 during Plenty at night


Some Rare Fish:

Gravid Bowfin - Wyerian Ruins, Area 8 (I know a lot of people have found it in other places, but this is where I found it)
Esconite - Scarlet Forest, Area 8
Grand Esconite - Scarlet Forest, Area 8
Petricanth - Scarlet Forest, Area 15 during Plenty, ruins interior where the Pop-Up Camp is (the fishing guide says it also appears in the Basin, but it was much more annoying to reset that one fishing spot over and over again and I never found it there)

Any other notable fish I should be out there finding?

Theres a platinum fish in desert( the underground fishing cave, not oasis). Gravid Bowfin seems to be a rare version of Virid? bowfin, which is also in the oasis and many other places w the sushi fish. Ive caught gravid in scarlet and oasis but it seem to be during the plenty season/ after the land heals from extreme weather. Theres also a bigger sushi fish that drops great sushi fish scale. I think its similar case to gravid, I found in the camp in scarlet forest. But sometimes its just sushi fish.

I have been farming the Platinumfish and Goldfish with nets whenever I rest to reset areas just to keep my points up. I'll keep an eye out for the big Sushifish. You said you found it in the Scarlet Forest camp area? Do you mean the Ruins camp or is there another camp you used?

I'll keep an eye out for a Grand Whetfish too. Is there a specific place to catch these? I'm going to guess wherever Whetfish show up, but I just want to check.

actually looking into my logbook it look like normal whetfish give a chance for whetfin+
