Edit: I looked it up and it only changes the smaller spiders. The big hunting monster models do not change. Sorry :(
OP is a troll. They've made several posts/comments about late-game content. They know the answer to their question, they just want attention.
They legitimately spend hours a day posting bait/troll comments/threads on the forums.
was that hunter just accosted without words?
It's an in-game option, but it only effects the small spider monsters. I assume it's because it may make the moves of the big spiders harder to read. Also, there are two types of large spider monster and you are required to fight both of them atleast twice for story progression, not including side quests or when they appear in cutscenes.
Edit: I know OP is a troll but I know from experience that people look at threads for information from Google, this is more for them.
spiders have 8 legs.
P.S.
Yes, I know people are saying they aren't spiders. People with Arachnophobia legit aren't going to care if they have 6 legs or 8. The fact is they look like spiders and that's all there is to it. So don't try to bring logic into it, these people's fear was literally never rational in the first place. It is called an "irrational fear" for a reason.
And yes, I also know the OP is a troll. It's still a funny topic.
