You carted like 2 times in one of my hunts. Pipe down.
Reading through the replies has encouraged me to ignore this game.

This is a myth. It gives the same rewards as carving. MOST of the time. Wilds removed the capture versus carving drop rates. However, it did not remove food buffs that give you extra carves. And you do not get those extra carves if the monster is captured. So, anyone who has a carving buff, actually gets less rewards from a capture. Wilds completely changed the way drops work, and now it is almost always better to carve when it comes to reweards. The exception is if you are playing solo or with friends whom you all know didn't bother to get food buffs. But everyone is really bad at this game, so no one will ever know this or bother to learn this.

I totally agree, there are several parts that have a higher chance of getting when carving vs capturing also.
Didn't know capture gives more reward, but this is my first serious MH game, and still learning how to kill and finish monsters. Right now still going through campaign mode and with the new mechanics everything is sooo much easier. Going to learn capture once I get to high rank I think.
So you call for help, and when people help you, you get angy... :cozyspaceengineersa:

it doesnt in wilds. It gives the same amount unless you have the capture meal buff. The carve meal buff basically is the same but for carving instead.

Colour me surprised when I went for a free meal at Sild and got Capture Pro (along with Insurance and Moxie)... and my Capture rewards spiked up massively. Like I thought it was some sort of weird joke how much I got from Arkveld...

Maybe I was wrong to dismiss the Carving meal... but the fact that there is such an OP Capture reward boosting meal just furthers my point that the two routes are more or less equal, loot-wise.

I am slightly curious as to whether the game tracks whether a hunter Captures or Kills more to determine which meal to give them... but honestly I expect it is just random.

They need to just let whoever sent out the SOS be the only one who can tranq.
World got people into such a bad habit wit the removal of dedicated carve vs capture rewards. So the newer players at the time just got into the habit of always capturing.
Then Rise came out and brought these different rewards back and yet they still kept this habit..
And now in Wilds yet again theres a reason to kill vs capture (more chances to break wounds for more drops) yet people STILL try to only capture.
Its so bad Ive seen randos try and capture when a monster wasnt even ready yet...

It doesn't. The base rewards are the same. However killing gives more opportunity to break wounds for additional drops, as well as if you use the carve food you get additional carves.
You need to know when to capture and when to kill, there's reasons for both.

it gives better rewards, plus i always capture if people are bad and getting carted so i'd rather capture instead of fail a hunt.

no it doesn't give better rewards, it gives less chance of higher tier rewards at the exchange for time.
This is a non issue.

it's a non issue, Just go after the Guaranteed gems you get from investigations. I rather slay sense the hunts are so short and the combat is so fun why shorten it farther, slay all day every day.

Yes, at 25% of the efficiency. Because 4 players doing 4 gore magala investigations uses up four investigation charges. 4 players doing one hunt uses up one investigation charge. If four players each have one gore magala investigation with 3 charges. All 3 of you can do your investigations solo for 3x the resources. Or you can each do the investigations one at a time for 12x the resources.
Bro's treating everyone's personal session of monster hunter as if it needs to be micromanaged like league of legends lol.

Ain't no way. 🤣

This is the equivalent of saying that the chupacabra is a myth, but it's true.

You clearly don't know what the definition of the word 'myth' is.
