Did you use DDU properly?
You used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to get rid of the old driver first?
Or in case something like Revo Uninstaller Pro?
IF not you should!
It's always "better" to get rid of the old drivers at first, before installing the new ones - PLUS - lock Windows for Updates for this work, to prevent a driver gets installed by Windows Default.
You should have no problem, when you did so.
The 572 drivers are quite broken. 572.47 and .60 have some serious issues with RTX40 and RTX30. 572.16 is ok-ish.
You might wanna stay at 572.70 or try 566.36. Sadly I doubt the 566 will fix your issue, if 572.70 doesn't work. Might be still worth a try.
Does it generate a CrashReport.txt?
Does it crash when you accept a quest?
If so, are there lines like:
With that, try disabling FG or DLSS in general. Maybe switch to the AMD one.
-The game is crashing shutting down my PC during initial Shader Compiling process. i dont get to start the game till accepting quest. or changing settings. it was working fine till one day back.
That sucks balls. I'm sorry to hear. Sadly I have no idea here other than the usual troubleshooting. Verifying files, etc.
The only common thing we both have is, it worked fine a day before (8h+) then it started crashing on every quest. But I came into the game and turned of DLSS, which fixed it.
A more intelligent person than me might know if editing the game settings outside of the game helps or not. You are definitly not the only one with this problem. Sorry that I can't help more.
