is it just me or MHWilds keep resetting/changing your in game setting?

I've had this happen to me too, and not too sure why it was happening.

Eventually I got used to just starting up the game and going into settings and changing things back to the way I wanted them. I got pretty quick at it too haha.

Oddly enough (might have been the update), I went back one day to change the settings like I normally did, and somehow, they were the way I had kept them from the day before.

Not exactly sure what I did differently to get the settings to save, instead of them resetting back to the default. But I'm glad it's not an issue for me any longer.

I do remember changing the options one day at the Main Menu, but I doubt that was actually what saved the settings. It very well might be, and could be worth the try, if you've not done so already.

Yes if you manually changed config.ini and then enter settings.
Fix: set Config.ini as read-only file.
Be warned: no settings in game will save after you do that.

here too. every time I start the game the graphics look different. No game I ve bought does that but this one is something else, such bad optimisation

Happened here again to me.It only does that after updates so not often but still annoying.

When you update you graphic drivers, it will reset your settings.
Tested it by reverting and reinstalling my drivers.

It is the Nvidea app, it was doing it for me automatically by default.... fixed it by changing the setting that auto optimises new games I also removed all the program paths for auto detection because I can do that ♥♥♥♥ myself

LOL NOT A GAME ISSUE IT'S a user issue for not reading the prompt when Nvidia App asked you "DO YOU WANT TO........" There is a legitimate issue when the game keep resetting to my 2nd TV.

i don't care if the background is bad. i just want the fur and the characters to be detailed why does it make my cat look like it is a brick instead of a soft cloud of fur?

Yes it does. lol Nivida created a notice to users on how to disable it when the new app was released.
