it randomly turned on raytracing and framegen on it's own lmao
The Nvidia app does not do that automatically by default.
that means something is wrong
Open File Explorer, navigate to where you installed Steam, in my case as an example;
This PC > Local Disk C: > Program Files X86 > Steam Library
Right click Steam Library > properties > Untick Read Only
You might find though that it's a Windows Permissions issue, because Windows 10 and Windows 11 decided long ago that we shouldn't own our own computers... Fk Microsoft.
So you may need to go Properties > Security > select USERS > EDIT > tick FULL CONTROL and apply.
(and then find that the next time Windows Updates it changes all this back because screw us)
