Murtabak as a material gather not happening?

So I am already in chapter 5, I've done the side quest "continuing conflict" and I am HR 52 but....whenever I talk to him or talk to Nata, he isn't a choice for me to gather materials. Did I miss something? Like from the wiki I gather this is all I need to do. I unlocked Plumpeach with doing Plumpeach's side quest for material gathering so I know it does happen. Am I just experiencing some weird glitch?

Okay so I have found out you need to do beware the gypceros to at least unlock him, if not his little side quest....I forgot what it's called right now, I think "continuing conflict"

this is true for all of them. if you don't have saber for example after doing his side quest you have to do aida's quest.

Murtabak gives a quest, I did it thinking this is all I needed for him to be a material gatherer as I did a side quest for Plumpeach. However, you have to do Beware the Gypceros. I don't know if you have to do Beware the Gypceros and his side quest (I believe). Also once he is a material gatherer, when there is inclement whether he'll be blank for you at Nata.

Indeed, I completed the Beware the Gypceros quest but Murtabak wasn't available. Turns out you need to complete the sidequest from each region, AND reach HR 15 and finish the first HR-blocked main quest.

I think I figured it out, guys
Zatoh gives you a quest called Beware the Gypceros
If it's not complete, it should be in your Mission List in the Quest tab.

Hope that helps some of you, I think that fixed it for me (in addition to doing Continuing Conflict)
