Performance Mods
I know it's been said before....but if your playing with a 40 or 50 series NVIDIA card and you don't have these mods installed your missing out on the games true potential.

Turning Off Hi-Res textures & installing these mods have genuinely fixed the performance issues for me.

-RE Framework
-Direct Storage 1.2.3 Update
-Nvidia Streamline Update
-DLSS 4 & Preset K

All stuttering has gone - camera panning is honestly so smooth that it actually shocked me that a few modders could fix this so fast!

Frame rates marginally improved in the open (10+fps) but considerably improved in the towns (20+fps)

Frame drops are now non-existent.

Frame Gen graphical glitches have also gone - was seeing them all the time previously, literally nothing now!

4070 SUPER TI
9700KF
32GB RAM
4K ULTRA DLSS BALANCED

what about temps?
you should probably change your CPU a 9700 kf it will bottleneck your GPU like no tomorrow

wdym temps, ur hardware has a max temp and it will throttle. the usage may increase or decrease but the max temps of your hardware will always be the same, assuming same ambient temps.

peeps just dont run a stress test and get surprise when a game loads the cpu/gpu harder than usual
Now imagine how incompetent Capcom devs are to allow this situation. Now imagine them being responsible for creating an entire video game. Now imagine you purchasing and playing the result. Now walk away from this garbage fire with your dignity intact.
I don't think that people with 50 series need performance mods. I got the 5070Ti with i5-14600K, 32GB RAM, I'm using the hi-res texture pack and have all settings maxed out, I did override the DLSS to 4.0 but I'm using the DLAA anyway at 1440p. I'm getting 140-160fps, granted, with frame gen, but the frame gen in this game is really smooth and I can't feel any increase in latency. If it's causing you graphical glitches then it's probably either CPU load or the initial fps isn't high enough.

Core temp shows a 70°C average but does hit 100°C under heavy load.
Task Manager showing GPU steady at 60-65°C.

Some people are having issues with the 50 series but as you said, could be CPU related.
For me with such an older CPU, these mods have been a god-send.

Not too bad at 4K, roughly 10-15% maximum....though that still warrants upgrading!

If the CPU hit 100 C then it's not normal and good CPU will go to 75-80 C under heavy load when it reach 100 C it will start to throttle himself to protect it from the damage.

What you do actually is hurting more your CPU check if you can put thermal paste or a water cooler into it if you not have one but in that point if you have the money just change your cpu and put a water cooler on it

I'm happy to hear you were proactive about finding a solution that works but I just don't believe it is possible to hit 60 fps in this game without frame generation on that CPU.

It's water cooled, it's 6 years old and it's overclocked heavily, It's been a beast.
The throttling is normal - it cools down from 100°C very fast, almost instantly.
Plus I don't really trust Core-Temp, as I don't see drops in frames when it throttles.

Damn. How were you able to find a 5070TI (under the assumption that you purchased one for MSRP)

You can definitely hit 60fps at 4K Ultra without Frame-Gen but it's not consistent.
It's actually a way better CPU than you think when overclocked.

I ordered mine from Japan. I lived there for a while so I know a couple of good electronics stores and Japan only has 8% VAT. It was actually around $10-20 under the MSRP after the conversion and the low VAT helped me save even with the international shipping.
