Bring back Underwater combat !!!

Underwater combat was fun back on MH tri
It would be awesome to utilise those bodies of water dotted around the world 😅.

Also fix the games performance FFS!

I'm gonna be honest here, underwater combat in Tri was deplorable. Although, I would rather hunt Lagiacrus in that game 100 times than play this pathetic failure of the franchise.

tri was my first mh game and I almost never touched the series again because of underwater combat

I'd love to see underwater return as I basically love anything water themed..flooded forest was such a cool map and them teasing it in Wilds just made me want it more.

BUT Capcom would have to implement it well and I'm not confident they can.

i wouldn't mind water combat returning but i don't think capcom is interested. it's a very resource-heavy feature to implement and requires them to effectively double the total amount of weapon movesets, water combat being received poorly when it was first introduced certainly isn't helping. this game having those little swimming sections at all feels like there's maybe some interest? but it's minimal. i wouldn't expect it at all for wilds, it's a bit too much to be part of an expansion or something.

Coral Highlands in Worlds was underwater combat. There was just no swimming.
