Am I going crazy or...
Has the invulnerability window when you've been knocked down reduced? I swear multiple times I've been knocked down and almost immediately hit a second time, where previously you'd be immune until you actually got up? Or am I going loopy in my old age and remembering things wrong?

Age & maybe lack of decoration
I've been knocked down in such a way that my hunter gets back up right away, like it's a precanned animation. In those situations, I'm still vulnerable because it isn't a full knockdown, and I often get hit with some followup attack while I'm still forcibly) rising. Maybe that's what you're experiencing?
i thought you were invulnerable as long as you lie on the floor... Also I was surprised by deceitfull animation where my character was hit and was rolling on the floor but instead of lying still, it stand up slowly, vulnerable and irresponsive.
I think it's because the animations are faster and the char stand up quicker, hence, less time to lie on the ground. Also, there are a couple attacks that I think you can't ignore, same as in Rise.
I've seen my friend (ranged debuff too) get hit with an attack that took off 80% of his hp and he didn't get knocked to the ground. He like landed on his ass and tried to get up, and while he was frame locked, he got hit again and died.

I checked and he didn't have flinch free, but maybe a food buff could have done that?
