♥♥♥♥ CAPCOM.
Did you try updating your drivers? IF capcom does an update, you need to keep your drivers updated as well (Not just GPU) If you don't know how, get driver booster, it will do it all for you and remember to restart your comp when you do so.
My friend was stuttering like crazy earlier on MHWI, but was fine on rivals. Told him to update his drivers (Cause a new one from Nvidia came out two days ago.) and he verified and boom, problem solved.
I play for 10 hours straight with the game running on ultra settings with the high texture pack, and then after 10 hours, for no apparent reason, it starts running poorly.
I'll get a look at it, but never had to do that for a game in years of gaming... Usually only updating my nvidia drivers (which are already up to date)
I did manage to finish the Yian Kut Ku quest before updating though. Probably more luck than anything else...
I believe this is an access violation thing. In your Steam game list, open MHW properties, browse the installed files and launch MonsterHunterWilds.exe as administrator using right click.
They know about it on their web site, its actually one of their workaround for this.
When i do this, im usually fine for 24h. I belive the adminsitrator privileges fade after 1 day. Simply reboot the game again.
Use tip #16 here and try again - reset the game if you used mods, like e.g. REFramework
