The mount makes everything so easy
No matter what danger I'm I know I can have my mount rescue me regardless of the danger involved, they should have a limit on how many times you can be rescued with a very long cool down times, it would not make the game hard, it would make it tactical in a positive way... Get out of danger yourself or call your mount knowing you will have to wait to use it again?

What do you guys think? Is the mount that makes this game easy or something else? I should mention that not once I have used the SOS flare signal, I'm doing everything Solo as it is too easy.

I dunno. I've never really used my mount to get out of danger. In the moment of a fight it doesn't occur to me to call the bird. Easier to just dodge, roll, or run off to the side than wait for the bird.

people actually bother to use the mount to get up? nothing is really a threat to you when your down anyway so whats the point
I've used the mount to rescue me only a handful of times. Usually if I just barely survived an attack and don't want to cart.
I don't think its the mount.
The game feels easier overall even without using it.
Monsters die faster, weapons do alot of damage, especially compared to world etc
But tbh i think it's fine since its just the base game, i don't mind them trying to appeal more to casuals.
Im hoping for a dlc that make us scream, you know? Normally dlc sell much less compared to the base game, lets pray for capcom appeal to veterans and such.
That's my two cents.

There are a couple of monsters who can wombo combo you, just not very many. The mount is actually safer than using the wirebug in rise, because the monster could hit you during the wirebug animation compared to the mounting animation having a ton of iframes.

i suppose thats some fringe use then yeah, i personally dont really use it cause it doesn't occur to me, i haven't seen many people use it either, but perhaps thats just small sample size there.

for the topic creator: i dont believe it makes the game too easy or anything, monster hunter is just not especially hard, imo

i use the mount to make aerial great sword attacks to try to mount the monster.
