The game feels easier overall even without using it.
Monsters die faster, weapons do alot of damage, especially compared to world etc
But tbh i think it's fine since its just the base game, i don't mind them trying to appeal more to casuals.
Im hoping for a dlc that make us scream, you know? Normally dlc sell much less compared to the base game, lets pray for capcom appeal to veterans and such.
That's my two cents.
There are a couple of monsters who can wombo combo you, just not very many. The mount is actually safer than using the wirebug in rise, because the monster could hit you during the wirebug animation compared to the mounting animation having a ton of iframes.
for the topic creator: i dont believe it makes the game too easy or anything, monster hunter is just not especially hard, imo
