Blue screen
My PC runs the game smoothly... however, in the beginning, it started crashing at certain moments. I thought I had fixed it, but yesterday, after the second part of the game, I experienced a wave of blue screens—something that had never happened to me before. I've played several demanding games, and the last one was Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. I played for over 100 hours without the game closing on its own, crashing, or, much less, causing a blue screen.

I did everything I could: updated drivers, BIOS, and many other things I won’t even mention here. I don’t believe the problem is my PC because, as I said, it’s more than enough to run the game on recommended settings. Even the AI I use said it's not my PC.

That said, I want to know if anyone else has had the same issue (blue screen) and managed to fix it. If not, I’ll have to move on to another game, unfortunately.

Setup: RTX 4060 TI 16 Gigas
Ram: 32 Gigas
SSD: 1 Tera
Processor: Intel Core i5 12600k

Why are you going to an AI for PC advice instead of like.. guru 3d/toms hardware forums or something? AI's are basically designed to provide a satisfactory answer, not a right answer (aka the one that makes you feel best about yourself lol.)

Check your 8 pin connector to your GPU. The 40 series is known to wear them down under excessive load.

That is a hardware issue, not a game issue.

Oh look, another post blaming the game for their own hardware stability issues

Not necessarily hardware, no. Unless you know the exact error for sure.

That said, AI won't fix this issue for you. You should check the exact error code and look it up on Microsoft's documentation[learn.microsoft.com]to get a hint of what's exactly happening.

You will never see a bluescreen, unless it is hardware related. If they have luck, it is just the driver. But they are not sharing a DxDiag report, so I could not care less.

You say bluescreens are always hardware related and immediately said it could be the driver.

A driver isn't hardware. "Not the game" also doesn't automatically mean hardware.

My bad. I phrased it wrong.

You will never see a bluescreen unless it is hardware related. It can be the driver, but it still is about the hardware.

Probably what the AI said their pc had.

Drivers are pretty closely related to hardware, since its the code that is used for interacting with specific hardware components.

By that logic you can do enough mental gymnastics to blame everything on hardware lol

No gymnastics needed. It's literally hardware related issues 99% of the time

I would not dare.

I always assume everyone has their drivers up to date. Under that assumption when a bluescreen occurs it has to be the hardware at fault, either with a defect or damage.

If I would not assume everyone has their drivers up to date, it is more likely to find the culprit in front instead inside the PC. But that is easy to clarify with a DxDiag report, hence only such matters while any other claims about their hardware means little to nothing to me. :mhwilds_OK:

What do you mean there’s no RTX 4060 Ti 16GB?

I get your point… you’re more focused on defending a poorly optimized game than actually helping someone in the community. Just because I used AI for support a few times, as if I hadn’t already checked forums. I wasted my time.

And about whether it exists or not—you don’t need AI for that. A simple Google search is enough.

You guys are pathetic. Pure waste of time thinking a gaming community would actually help. I forgot that the most important thing is defending your beloved console or game.
From what I’ve seen here, there was more judgment than any decent response:

"Look, this guy used AI to get information!" — As if I hadn’t also checked forums.
"There’s no RTX 4060 Ti 16GB!!!" — Oh really? It doesn’t exist? And I’m the one who doesn’t know anything? A simple Google search would’ve saved you from this embarrassment.

Anyway... just a bunch of arrogant people. No, I’m not deleting my comment. Let it be an example for others—to understand that this community doesn’t care about helping, just talking nonsense.

I just want to open a game and play. Simple as that. And despite everything I did, it wasn’t enough—so enjoy your poorly optimized game. I’m moving on… not wasting any more time on this.

Money down the drain, just like this attempt to ask for help from a bunch of idiots.
