Gypceros got me with play dead

I thought the mission glitched considering I even was able to carve him, but after carving two items off he woke up and knocked me out!! Hilarious, especially considering I Thought it was a bug.

This brings back memories, LOL. That was his schtick since he first appeared and you could carve him then as well. There was an easy way to tell if he was dead though. If you had to hunt him, he was only truly dead when the music played for a hunt's end. Capcom didn't really think that one through very well.

He got me too. Me and my partner laughed our asses off at that. Next time I hunted Gypceros, I placed barrel bombs next to it and just waited. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, I'm blowing you the ♥♥♥♥ up.
